Music Notes:

Please maintain Silence before and after every Mass.
During the Penitential Season of Lent, various Church
documents call for changes of our external and internal
dispositions, in order to make more room for God. The
"fasting" from solo organ works provides a silence before
and after Mass; all are encouraged to use the silence to
prepare for the Sacred Mysteries, and to give proper thanks
at the end, without distraction.

The Communion Antiphon (Graduale Romanum Chant Proper):
Passer invenit sibi domum, et turtur nidum, ubi reponat
pullos suos; altaria tua Domine virtutum, Rex meus,
et Deus meus; beati qui habitant in domo tua, in saeculum
saeculi laudabunt te (The sparrow has found herself a home,
and the turtledove a nest in which to lay her young;
at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God!
Blessed are they who dwell in your house, they shall praise
you for ever and ever).
