This weekend at the Saturday 5 pm Vigil Mass the Music is led
by the School Choir (directed by Rebecca Monson).

Mid-week is Ash Wednesday. The character of our liturgies
changes: the Gloria is not used (except for Solemnities); the
Alleluia is not used (from Tue Feb 24 after Compline [Night Prayer]
until well after sunset Sat Apr 11 [Easter Vigil]). Therefore,
sing heartily today, particularly the Gloria and Alleluia!

Church documents require minimal instrument use throughout Lent,
hence no Preludes or Interludes or Postludes will be presented.
Please maintain Silence before and after every Mass throughout Lent.
