This weekend we begin the short segment of Ordinary Time.
This year it is only three weeks long. Readings are found
in the hymnal under the headings "Sunday A" and "Weekday 2".

Norman Warren (1934-) was born in London, and educated at
Dulwich College in South London; studied music and theology at
Corpus Christi College and Ridley Hall (Cambridge, BA 1958, MA 1962).
Ordained (1960) in the Church of England; curate of Bedworth,
Warwickshire; vicar of St Paul's Leamington Spa; Rector of Morden;
Archdeacon and Canon of Rochester; retired (2000). A gifted musician
and a prolific writer and composer of hymn tunes and texts, songs,
anthems, musical plays, instrumental pieces (mostly organ).
